OUR PLATFORM

The RedBeam SaaS Platform Behind Tracking Made Easy

With our modern, Google Cloud-native applications, RedBeam offers rapid scalability, centralized security, and flexibility for keeping up with fluctuating demands.

Using the RedBeam platform as our solid foundation, we’re able to offer consistent benefits across all of our tracking solutions.

Self-contained

Our SaaS-based tracking solutions require zero infrastructure on your end. No servers to maintain. No appliances behind your firewall. No software to install.

Built-in security

Security is fundamental to everything we do. RedBeam is SOC 2 Type II certified – and our security, availability, and confidentiality are independently audited.

Easy integration

RedBeam uses modern REST APIs and user-defined workflows to easily connect asset and inventory events intelligently with other back office systems.

SAAS ASSET TRACKING

Easy to Deploy
Secure for IT

No-Effort Deployment

Our SaaS DNA and lack of IT infrastructure modification requirements mean users can get started with RedBeam in minutes – which dramatically reduces your time to benefit.

Scale with Your Needs

Built on a Kubernetes containerized architecture hosted in Google Cloud, RedBeam remains responsive – regardless of the number of assets, items, locations, or RFID reads involved.

Scan It Your Way

Scanning is at the heart of our tracking solutions, and RedBeam supports multiple scanning and labeling options.

Certifiably Secure

Integrated with Auth0 to support single sign-on with your IAM platform of choice, RedBeam has proven security and is certified SOC 2 Type II.

Multi-Tenancy for Added Flexibility

Are you a partner that needs to support multiple customers? Or a large enterprise customer with multiple divisions that act independently. Get admin visibility to both.

RedBeam’s Firewall-Friendly Approach to RFID

Offering true SaaS applications that support RFID and modern scanning technologies behind customer firewalls requires a platform architecture that is flexible, well thought through, and proven through implementation.

RFID fixed and mobile readers create high transactional data, which challenges networks and traditional APIs.

RedBeam securely supports your RFID capabilities with:
  • Greater scalability – With containerized applications, capacity can be instantly increased as transactions increase, ensuring smooth and seamless RFID read processing.
  • Improved performance – RedBeam is not based on traditional keyed databases, but rather on high performance document management, so it’s built for speed.
  • No need for on-site infrastructure – By taking full advantage of the MQTT protocol, RedBeam does not require infrastructure to communicate securely with fixed and mobile readers behind your firewall.
  • Faster upgrades – Because there is just one single, centralized place to go to make enhancements, new software versions or patches can be deployed more rapidly.

How RedBeam and REST APIs make data work for you

Here’s an easy, non-technical way to explain to others how our applications are able to integrate with so many of your back office systems.

Think of REST APIs as a waiter in a restaurant. As a diner in that restaurant, you look at the menu (the system you want to connect to). You tell the waiter (the API) what you want, and they take your order to the kitchen (the system’s database). The kitchen prepares your food (the data), and the waiter brings it back to you exactly how you asked.

RedBeam’s REST APIs work the same way: They’re messengers that let different systems talk to each other, sending and receiving information in a way they both understand. This makes it easy to connect software, share data, and automate tasks without needing to know how everything works behind the scenes.
